Call for Papers

Archives will devote our May 2013 issue to the topic of pediatric hospital medicine. We are interested in a broad range of research related to hospital care, including clinical and comparative effectiveness research designed to provide evidence on best practices in the inpatient management of pediatric diseases, including studies on clinical effectiveness diagnostics, therapies, and management strategies. Manuscripts received by September 15, 2012, will have the best chance of consideration for the pedatricl hospital medicine research theme issue. Authors should consult this website for guidelines on manuscript preparation and submission.

In this issue the articles "Preschool Micronutrient Supplementation Effects on Intellectual and Motor Function in School-aged Nepalese Children" by Murray-Kolb et al [poa120004], and "Influence of Prenatal and Postnatl Growth on Intellectual Functioning in School-aged Children" by Pongcharoen et al [poa110050] with an editorial by Cusick and Georgieff are part of the JAMA Global Health theme issue.
